Putting a tribute band together might not seem like a hard thing to do, but ask anyone and the majority opinion will agree that putting a RUSH tribute band together is no easy task.
With band members coming and going, I think we are finally settled on our final band line-up with Joe Scarangella (formerly of Power Windows) joining. We are thrilled to have him aboard!
Every member in this band is a hardcore Rush fan and fully realize that we are at the early stages of developing our act. We had our first performance at the legendary Dingbatz venue on April 16th. Although we played well for our first gig, we were plagued by a late evening rain storm which significantly reduced the number of people who were going to attend.
So looking forward....we wanted to create this blog to keep the fans (and new fans) updated of our progress in hoping to bring the premiere Rush tribute act to the tri-state area...and beyond! :)
We still have a few logistical things to iron out (demo, booking agent, etc.) but are hoping to officially hit the road sometime in June.
We've also started a poll on the right. Let us know if you'd like to hear the entire Moving Pictures or 2112 album at our next show!
Also, let us know who is going to either the PNC or Mohegan Sun shows this summer....some band members will be there and it would be cool to meet up!
